The Bolt-Ons automate it, reading your existing analysis model and writing the Dynamico input files directly, so a full design run is minutes away from a finished analysis. One small window does it all: pick the module, the load cases and the elements, and the Bolt-On extracts everything the design needs. The SAP2000® and Abaqus SIMULIA™ Bolt-Ons follow exactly the same three-choice pattern. Every dialog has its own Help button, the input files are written beside your analysis model, and the STAAD® Bolt-On converts plate stresses to forces for you.

Go manual first.
Then automate forever.

For new users we recommend creating the input files manually for your first 2–3 runs. It builds a working understanding of your analysis data and our output data, knowledge you’ll use in post-processing, validation and detailed reviews. After that, the Bolt-Ons become invaluable, cutting the process to minutes.
